Go back to 1808 and the Black Snake Affair which resulted in the first hanging in Vermont. You are cordially invited to attend our exciting commemoration of this event on August 23, 2014 at 4:00 PM. Gary Shattuck, author of a book on the incident and Pete Sutherland, who will perform his song about the affair will be featured.
