This evening the Charlotte Select Board meets to discuss a Noise Ordinance in the Town of Charlotte.

While neighboring towns, Hinesburg, Shelburne, Williston, and Richmond each have a respective ordinance…Charlotte has none.

A discussion relative to adopting a Charlotte noise ordinance is on the agenda of the Select Board's meeting tonight, August 28th. The issue of a noise ordinance is scheduled to be on the agenda on or about 8:30 (this is a scheduled event but it is likely to occur earlier).

If you support a town noise ordinance but have no desire to attend the Select Board meeting, or, you are unable to attend the meeting, please consider participating either by phone:
