Cellist Suzanne Smith founded cellochan in 1992 in Ann Arbor, MI. In 2016 she moved to Vermont and now performs with Vermont Virtuosi and as Principal cellist of the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra,. Suzanne teaches privately, offering chamber music coaching and private cello lessons. She received her bachelor performance at Oberlin Conservatory and a masters in music under Bernard greenhouse at Stony Brook , S.U.N.Y. She founded and directs an annual cello retreat for cellists from intermediate to very advanced levels.
