Electric Car Sun Carnival

Past event
Aug 17, 2014

It’s the first annual Sun CARnival – with fun for all your family! Here’s what's on tap: Multitudes of electric vehicles displayed by their knowledgeable owners. Want a test ride? Sure thing.

Solar power galore for the music stage and a bouncy house. Did I say kid-friendly?

Free Open Hearth pizza and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Yum.

Plus much more solar and electric car fun It’s going to be grand, and here are the details to put on your calendar: Saint Michael’s College (Klein Hall parking lot) Sunday August 17th from 1 to 4 pm

Electric vehicles for you to look over will include: Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, and Mitsubishi MiEV, to name a few. Even some electric two-wheeled modes of transport. And let us know if you or someone you know has an electric car and would like to join in the fun; the more the merrier! I have a Plug in Prius and think it is the greatest!

Fun Fact: Driving an electric vehicle powered by solar is like locking in $1 per gallon of gasoline. It's not just the cleanest fuel, it's by far the cheapest too.
