The Players present their final concert this Wednesday August 16 at 7:30 PM at the Elley-Long Music Center at St. Michael's College, Colchester. There will be a pre-concert chat with one of the artists at 6:45.
The program features two works by Brahms: the Trio in a minor for clarinet, cello and piano; and the Quintet in f minor for two violins, viola, cello and piano. Between these two pieces is Debussy's Premiere Rhapsodie. Originally composed for clarinet and piano, the Players will perform an arrangement for string quartet by Michael Drapkin.
