Have something that needs repairing? Mending is a great way to extend the life of your clothing rather than throwing it out, and we want to teach you how!

On Thursday, August 24th from 5:30-7:00pm we will be hosting a mending workshop where you will be walked through the steps of mending your own clothing with patches and decorative hand stitching. Whether it is a hole, stain, rip, or a perfectly fine garment, visible mending is a fun way to add a new flair to your clothes!

INSTRUCTOR: Mar will be leading this workshop and we are very excited to have her back! She specializes in embroidery and patch making. Mar's work is fun and fresh, always bringing a new addition to pieces of clothing and even making her own!

BRING: Something from your closet. This technique looks best on woven fabrics like cotton or denim.
