The evidence is clear that movement and exercise are good for us--and the key to regular movement is to find a way to do it that you enjoy!

If you like slow, thoughtful movement, and find value in paying attention to your breathing and how you feel in your body, then you might enjoy yoga with Esther!

You can try it out this September during my 3-week introduction to building a movement habit founded in awareness, followed by the option to attend drop-in yoga classes online.

Mov/ed Welcome Series
September 15 - 29, 2023
Fridays, 8-9am, online via Zoom

This series introduces movement principles applicable to any movement or exercise style, while using example practices based in slow-form yoga. No prior experience or familiarity with yoga is expected.

The Welcome Series introduces you to building a movement habit founded in awareness (of your needs, your body, and more). The hope is that this series will give you a foundation for building or continuing a regular movement practice or exercise habit, whether on your own or in group classes. We'll cover principles that can help you engage with your movement routine with intention. And if you're just starting to build a habit, I hope these tools will make it easier to do just that.

The principles in the Welcome Series are also foundational to the way I teach my weekly stretching/daily movement classes. If you're looking for a regular class to join, this series is a good introduction to my style of teaching.

The Welcome Series is offered online via zoom and attendance is limited to 8 people. Fee is pay what you choose, with a suggested range of $30-$90.
