Event Title: Fall Birding at the Pratt Refuge
Event Description: Every fall thousands of migratory songbirds, including the Hermit Thrush, our state bird, make their way south to warmer winter grounds. The Pratt Refuge in Duxbury is a birding hotspot and stopover for many of these migratory birds. Fred Pratt, a generous bird enthusiast, gave the refuge to the Vermont Land Trust along with 40 years of bird data. Veteran birders from the Mad Birders will lead small groups on a guided walk where we'll identify birds by sight and sound. More advanced birders are also welcome to attend as this is an eBird hotspot and excellent fall migration location.
This event is perfect for birders of all abilities! Please pre-register today by going to: https://vlt.org/events/fall-birding-at-the-pratt-refuge/. Co-hosted by Vermont Land Trust and the Mad Birders.
Event location: Pratt Refuge, Duxbury. Please register for directions and meeting instructions.
