How often do you have a chance to do three great things at once? On Saturday August 19th Habitat's Re-Store truck will be at Charlotte Congregational Church accepting tax deductible donations of household items in good condition including furniture, area rugs, lamps, small appliances, tools to name just a few. (No mattresses, baby equipment, large CRT TVs please).
Here's a chance to:
> get rid all those items that have been lying around basements and attics for months or even years
> provide others with an opportunity to benefit from things that otherwise might end up in a landfill
> help address the need for affordable, quality, housing for working families in our area
Simply, bring any items you wish to donate to the Charlotte Congregational Church (403 Churchill Rd., Charlotte) on Saturday August 19th between 8:30am and 11:00am and they will be gladly accepted. You will be given a receipt for your tax deductible donation and you will leave knowing that you have spared the environment and helped address a serious affordable housing shortage in Chittenden County.
For additional information about items that can be accepted or not go to https://vermonthabitat.org/donate-items-to-the-restore/ . Other questions contact Jim Hyde @ james.hyde@tufts.edu or by phone at 802-425-5263.
Hope to see you on August 19th.
