Northeast Kingdom Community Action (NEKCA) is hosting Cricket Wireless for the rollout of the Vermont Affordable Connectivity Program (VACP) on July 28th for St. Johnsbury Final Friday along Railroad St. This NEW program from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) expands digital equity across Vermont.

If you need help paying for home internet service and need it for school, work, or building connections you may qualify for this program to save money on new or existing service. You might qualify for a $30 monthly discount on internet service and a one-time $100 discount for a device purchased through a participating provider.

Cricket Wireless currently has a $30/month offer that includes a free phone. If you qualify for the ACP your monthly bill will be $0. Come visit the NECKA table for a children's activity and to speak with NEKCA VACP Outreach Coordinator, Paige Hartsell, or a Cricket representative to learn more. The entire Economic Equity team will be there to answer questions and share information about Green Savings, financial counseling, and micro business.
