It has been an exhausting and mentally draining couple of days for Vermonters. If you are not tied up in recovery - and perhaps wondering how exactly to move forward from such a wild event - I invite you to join me in Hubbard Park on Wednesday for some calming, grounding outdoor yoga.
This Wednesday, 7/12
5:30-6:30 pm
Hubbard Park Tuning Forks Shelter
**Please verify that your driving route is open before coming. Walk or bike if at all possible.**
If you're new to these classes, here's what you need to know:
--Bring your own yoga mat, preferably one that can get damp or dirty.
--Dress for the weather. Think about sunscreen, sweat rag, water bottle. bug spray.
--Park in designated parking areas. The closest parking is at the Old Shelter. The Tuning Forks stage is at the back of the field just east of the Old Shelter. Allow time to walk in from your car. Here is a map of the park.
--Classes are pay-what-you-can, and payment is accepted by cash, Venmo, or PayPal. [All proceeds from the 7/12 and 7/19 classes will be donated to flood recovery efforts]
--Modification options will be offered, but please engage in yoga postures at your own risk and with your own body in mind.
Let's come together to breathe, move, and heal as a community!
