Join Tracy Donahue at Inner Heat Yoga Studio on Friday June 16th, from 6 to 8 pm for an extra gentle, two-hour practice done entirely on the floor.
In this slow-paced practice we use props - bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps - to support the body in passive stretches that are held for several minutes at a time. This conscious relaxation, within a passive yoga practice, alternately stimulates and relaxes the body - naturally moving it towards healing and balance.
This class is appropriate for stress relief, and/or for anyone who is interested in a slow, gentle and deeply relaxing practice.
Guided Meditation - The Four Circuits: A brief inner sequence to be initiated at the beginning of a mindfulness or sitting practice. Once established, the circles in this sequence provide a strong container for intention and prayer. Experienced as a supportive mandala, it also gives one opportunities to practice compassion and generosity.
Cost; $25 dollars. No previous Yoga experience needed.
