~ NASHVILLE PHYSICIAN and AUTHOR ~ SALLY WILLARD BURBANK, MD will be at the Lincoln library for a book signing, meet and greet. Sally and her husband both grew up in Vermont and hold a fondness for the green mountain state.
In her twenty-five years as a primary care internist, Dr. Burbank has seen everything: lunatics, criminals, hypochondriacs, and even a Cocker Spaniel!

By popular demand, she has penned Patients I Will Never Forget, a collection of humorous and inspiring true stories to forever capture these memorable encounters. The antics of a demented octogenarian and a dimwitted patient named "Bob" will leave you laughing out loud. Dr. Burbank's disastrous attempts to combine medicine with motherhood will reveal a new side to ladies in lab coats. The inane ICD-10 codes and outrageous decisions of insurance companies will leave you shaking your head.

Stir in a wheelchair-bound, blind dialysis patient who insists on serving others till her dying breath, a comatose leukemia patient miraculously healed, and an unfortunate soul doomed to chopping onions eight hours a day, and you are guaranteed to laugh out loud, cry, and want to tell your friends about this delightful book.

"It's comedy and inspiration rolled into one. ~ The cartoons and quotations are great, like icing on a cake! ~ After reading Dr. Burbank's book, I will never forget these patients either! ~ A must-read for anyone who enjoyed All Creatures Great and Small. ~ A lighthearted, thoroughly enjoyable book. I loved it!" (Above taken from Dr. Burbank's web site)
