CALENDAR ALERT! - Perennial plant sale this Saturday, June 10th. If you missed the online sale, or just need more perennials, The Bennington Chapter of the UVM Extension Master Gardeners will host their annual in person plant sale at 117 Corey Drive, North Bennington (off Rte. 67 East across from Whitman's delivery entrance), from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday! Please visit us for 100's of healthy shade and sun loving, native and pollinator friendly plants.
Current plant list includes: Agastache, Astilbe (white), Aster, Bearded Irises (yellow, light purple, burgundy), Beardtongue (Penstemon), Chives, Daylilies, Hosta (green, green/white, blue), Annabelle Hydrangea shoots, Knautia, Lady's Mantle, Lamb's Ear, Lungwort, Obedient Plant, Rudbeckia, Shasta Daisies, Siberian Iris (purple), and white Yarrow.
Also, house plants: spider (green) and aloe vera.
We look forward to seeing our friends and neighbors in person and helping you expand your garden. The proceeds of our sale support scholarships for you, your neighbors and friends to enroll in the excellent University of Vermont Extension's Master Gardener course taught online every winter by UVM faculty and staff and Vermont horticulture professionals.
Location: This sale was held at the Walloomsac/Bennington Farmers' Market in previous years. This year's location is easily accessible – 117 Corey Drive, off Rt 67 east, across from Whitman's Feed Store. Please don't block any driveways on the street. Wagons / people will be available to help you get your plants to your car.
