"Commodore" Thomas Macdonough, VUHS Therapy Dog of Vermont, is walking in his 10th walk-a-thon May 19th to support the 2023 senior's "Walking Miles For Smiles". He is asking all community dog and pet owners to help him raise funds to grant a wish for two ANWSD elementary school students. Commodore worked at VUHS in a classroom for 11 years and even though he retired with his owner in 2019 he still actively loves and supports the efforts of VUHS students giving back to their community.

All ages and pets please consider donating $1.00 for every mile Commodore walks with VUHS seniors on Friday to bring a smile to a child whose wish comes true. If you are traveling the route from VUHS to KBS and back via Botsford and Hawkins Road, please cheer the seniors, advisers and Commodore on. Any donations can be given to a 2023 senior or dropped off at the high school office.
