Another Activism Opportunity - Moretown Library

Have you been paying attention to the Debt Limit Crisis? Indivisible Mad River Valley sure has. And we are so proud of Vermont's Representative Becca Balint. She is a champion for a clean vote to avoid a default on our debts, separate from budget negotiations. She opposes cuts to Social Security, Medicare and other programs Vermonters rely on. When our representatives stand up for the people, rather than corporate interests or their own pockets, we prosper.

Indivisible Mad River Valley plans to make a large thank you card for Rep. Balint on Thursday May 25th, from 4-6 pm at the Moretown Library (in Town Hall) please join us. We will supply all the material, (and ideas if you need them.) You just show up! No artistic ability required, just a desire to lend you hand in thanking Rep. Balint.

Also, if you missed out, or want to make another square for the quilt project in support of Planned Parenthood and reproductive rights that we worked on at the May 9th meeting, we will have the supplies to continue that project. You can do both in one meeting!
