Waterbury Fire Department and Ambulance are taking part in the state's first coordinated recruitment effort. There will be an open house at the Main ST Fire Station, 43 S Main ST on this Saturday May 13 from 9-1. Stop by for some snacks early on and then hotdogs at lunch time, check out the fire trucks, ambulance, car seat safety check and more. Talk to members of both services, find out what we do and if volunteering in our community is something that might interest you. Whether you have an interest in volunteering or not we'd love for you to stop by to visit.
