Join speaker Jim Graves, Professor of Biology at Green Mountain College (1996-2019), now retired to the field and the home plant lab at MCL! Learn or brush up on how to identify trees, and raise your enthusiasm for those fascinating and odd terms in plant morphology. Trees feed and structure our upland habitats and lowland swamps, and grace our landscapes and gardens. Knowing trees helps garden and manage land, and brings the joy of noticing more of the interesting life around us. MCL partnered with the Garden Club of Manchester for this event.
