The Body Liberation Outdoor Club plans events for folks in larger or marginalized bodies to enjoy nature and the outdoors.
Join us on Saturday, May 6th at 10am at the Millstone Trails for our next hike!
Barre Town Forest is a 370-acre park located on the property of an old granite mine. The trails wind through the woods and above the quarry ponds to some beautiful overlooks. Our 3.5 mile hike is generally considered an easy route, with 383 ft of elevation gain.
Here's what hiking with us is like...
1) Our pace is that of the person at the back of the group.
2) Absolutely no diet or weight loss talk.
3) Hikes are no longer than 4 miles and vary in difficulty level and vertical rise.
4) We stop frequently to enjoy the vistas, take breaks, drink water, etc.
Sounds fun, right?!
