Capital City Grange will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, from 4:30 to 6:00 in the Main Hall. That will be followed by our monthly Community Potluck, starting at 6:00 in the Lower Level! Both events are free and open to the public.
This month, we'll be looking at where we stand, now that we have gotten through the winter with our pellet furnace, dealt with snow and snow-plowing, and have completed our big project installing a wheelchair platform lift. We're also seeing increased rentals, which is helping to improve our cash flow as we recover from the pandemic shutdowns. It's time to evaluate where we can go from here, and how to involve new volunteers to help us continue and improve our community service mission.
Please join us for our meeting to learn more about the Grange and how it works, and to see where you can fit in!
Please join us for the Community Potluck dinner, if you like to eat! We know you probably do, so you might as well join us and share the dishes which people make. Bring whatever you want--salads, main dishes, casseroles, soups, desserts, side dishes, bread, cheese, chips, salsa, hummus--we always end up with a variety of tasty items! It's also a chance to socialize with the volunteers who keep the Grange going, and to meet some new folks in a friendly setting.
