One-Day Free Introduction to Rowing You will get a taste of rowing: learn to get in and out of a boat, take a few strokes while tethered to the dock, and maybe launch on the West River.

Directions to the boathouse: Turn off Putney Road at the Marina Restaurant; drive about 200 yards beyond it to the Quonset Hut at the head of the West River Trail
