Hi everyone. As a last request or reminder, today (Thursday) at 6 pm is our second and last Community Values Mapping. This session is online. Registration information is at https://www.waterburyvt.com/boards/conservation/community-values-mapping-program
For those attending, we will join in a large virtual group on Zoom. Then we will break out in small groups (six to eight people) and discuss what we love about Waterbury. The small group will identify those areas of Town they love on maps. For example, for recreation, the group could decide to draw a circle around Anderson Field, the WATA bike trails and other places. For historical places, the group may decide to circle our cemeteries.
The maps will be compiled into a report and provided to the Town by the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. We hope that will be available in May or June for the Town to review and discuss.
