Vermont Virtuosi emerges at long last from the ofttimes distressing shadows of the pandemic with a spring concert comprising optimistic and inspiring music for flute, clarinet and piano. They will play music by Claude Debussy, Florence Price, Daniel Dorff, Augusta Read Thomas and Lowell Liebermann and premiere "The Boy Who Raced His Shadow" by Barre composer David Gunn. The concert will be repeated at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, at the Waterbury Congregational Church (8 North Main Street). Admission is free; donations are welcome.
