Please join us on May 6 for Green Up day in Milton. By spending a few hours cleaning the roadsides, you can have a positive impact on your neighborhood or your favorite street/road. It's easy to participate:
Prior to May 6, official Green Up trash bags will be available at the Milton Municipal Building beginning Wed. April 26. When you pick up your bags, you will see a road map of the town in the lobby. Please highlight the area where you plan to work. Or, on May 6, you may also visit the pavilion at Bombardier Park East (off Middle Rd.) to pick up bags. Just follow the directional signs.
On the morning of May 6, coffee, hot chocolate, and doughnuts will be provided to participants at Bombardier Park East. Natural resource information will also be available from the Conservation Commission on a variety of topics. Be sure to wear heavy duty gloves. Leave bags and large items along the roadside for pick up by the Milton Highway Department. After your work is done, you will feel good about helping to improve your community.
