Greetings!

Forecast: Sunny, high 70s.

Music at 5: Richmond-based Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Karen Krajacic is joined by fellow The Deadicated collaborator bassist Peter Williams, performing her originals and quirky covers— plus highlights of their Grateful Dead repertoire. Sponsored by Toscano Café/Bistro, offering romantic dining in a casual atmosphere, serving lunch & dinner Tuesday through Sunday —and brunch on Sunday too — in the heart of downtown Richmond.

Produce this week: blueberries, raspberries, currants, shelling and snap peas, salad greens, carrots, micro greens, yellow squash, zucchini, garlic, new potatoes, tomatoes, basil, mint, specialty peppers, scallions, fennel, pea shoots, parsley, garlic scapes, spinach, braising greens, kale, beets, beet greens, chard, radishes, shiitake mushrooms and more.

Other groceries: goat cheese; pasture-raised chicken, beef, pork, & eggs; pesto; chocolate truffles; maple syrup; honey; bread; muffins, cookies; maple candies; wine (East Shore Vineyard).

Dining options: Pie Empire (Australian meat pies); Maple Wind Farm (grilled burgers, hotdogs, and sausages); Kadric’s (Eastern European cuisine); Ewetopia’s homemade ice cream; Maple Tree Tea (iced teas and lemonade); shaved ice; cookies (including gluten-free options); and Fuel Vermont (new day vendor!) - fresh fruit and veggie juice blends, made to order.

Crafts: cards and prints; candles; pottery; jewelry; soaps and lotions; henna tattoos; jounals; hair accessories.

Community Booth: Imaging the World, a Vermont based global health organization, brings ultrasound technology to under-served areas.

Debit cards and EBT are welcomed. Gift certificates available. EBT customers: We can double up to $10 per market day of EBT buying power with coupons.

Please leave parking spaces in front of On the Rise for bakery patrons. Arrive on foot or by bicycle, or park in the Volunteer’s Green side of the lot, or the Town Center or Rec field lots. Public restroom facilities are by the rec fields.

See you at the market!
