Waterbury Ambulance Service & Comedian Denise McCarty, host of the show, present a Night of Comedy. A fundraiser for the Station Creation Project.

The show will be on Friday May 19th, 2023 at the Waterbury American Legion located at 16 Stowe Street in Waterbury VT. Doors open at 6:15pm. Show starts at 7:00pm. This is a 21+ adult event.

A little about the comedians:

DENISE MCCARTY, is Vermont's only Korean stand-up comic. She has been performing stand-up comedy for over a decade in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Massachusetts. She previously hosted a weekly comedy show at Twiggs American Gastro Pub in St Albans and was a member of the Upper Valley Comedy Improv Troupe.

ASHLEY WATSON has been in the Vermont comedy scene for over 10 years, performing at venues throughout the state, including Higher Ground, The Flynn Space, The Green mountain comedy festival, Femmcom & Burlington's First Night. Watson was a finalist in higher grounds comedy battle and a semi-finalist in Vermont's Funniest Comic Contest.

MIKE THOMAS has been writing and performing comedy since the age of 14. He quickly became a fixture in Burlington Vermont's growing comedy scene. He has placed in the top 5 in both the Higher Ground comedy battle and place 3rd in The Vermont's Funniest Comedian Contest 2018. He can be seen performing all over the state and regularly at the Vermont Comedy Club, most recently as a writer and performer for the Summer Comedy Revue.

MEREDITH GORDON has been making people laugh all over New England for years including the Portland Comedy Fest and the Glida's Laugh Fest! she won the Seven Daisies Award for Best Stand-up Comic of 2022.

EJ MURPHY Vermont native EJ Murphy has played top clubs all over, and has built a reputation as one of the Northeast's consistently funny comedy acts while developing into one of Boston's new headliners. His comedy has appeared on MSN's home page, Sirius XM and Rooftop Comedy's daily 8. He has appeared in the semi-finals of The Boston Comedy Festival & The Comedy Central Laugh Riots, and has even opened for Styx.
