In this final workshop of our three part series hosted by the MRV Libraries, we'll dive into the process of counting ballots. Eve will demystify the electoral process as she explains the stages of counting ballots, machine tabulation of paper ballots, and the role of certification boards. She will explain the operation of electoral college and describe the how the National Popular Vote compact would work.

While you deepen your understanding of democracy, you'll be able to stitch pieces of a collaborative banner stating democratic principles for the Warren Fourth of July Parade. We'll have activities for non-knitters too. Instructions provided. Bring red, white, or blue worsted or bulky weight yarn and US 8-10 needles or J-K crochet hooks, if you have them.
