Chocolates with Charlie

Feb 11, 2025, 7 to 8 PM

All about Pruning!

Join the Friends of the Stowe Free Library on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 7pm for our annual visit from Vermont Master gardner Charlie Nardozzi. This year he will be talking about pruning. Gardeners are often mystified about how to prune shrubs and trees. In this talk Charlie will discuss the science and art of pruning with examples on how to prune fruit trees, ornamental shrubs and older trees including information on pruning tools.

Stowe Free Library is located at 90 Pond Street in Stowe. There is plenty of free parking in front of and in back of, by the school, the library. Enter through the back door by the school as the library closes at 7pm.

This talk is free and open to the public. Chocolates will be provided as you kick off Valentine's week with Charlie.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of Stowe Free Library, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, supporting library resources, activities and programs.

For information, visit https://www.stowevt.gov/Departments/Library, call the Library at 802-253-6145 or email stowefreelibrary@gmail.com
