Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga performed while seated and using a chair for support. Practicing yoga this way makes the benefits of yoga accessible to all bodies. Research has shown chair yoga can improve strength, balance, mobility, and reduce stress. This class is taught by Amy Greene, a certified yoga teacher, who uses her many years of experience as a physical therapist to bring the benefits of yoga to people with mobility disabilities, balance issues or muscular diseases.
