Wallingford Memorial Rotary Club is dedicated to assisting those in need wherever they may be. As we pass the one-year anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, the situation for Ukrainian civilians has only worsened, and there appears to be no end in sight. Food, water, medicine, clothing, shelter - the need is great for all of these things. We are a small Rotary Club, but with the help of caring people in Wallingford and surrounding towns, we can send them assistance through our partner Rotary Club in Poland. We will be holding a Lasagna Dinner to support Ukraine on Saturday, April 1 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at the Rotary building, Main Street, Wallingford. The menu will include either sweet sausage or vegetable lasagna, tossed salad, and garlic bread, with cream puffs for dessert. The cost is $15.00 per person, and you may enjoy your dinner at the Rotary Club or as take-out. We request that you pre-order your dinners between March 1 and March 26, either by going to Wallingfordvtrotary.com, or visiting our FaceBook page at Wallingford Memorial Rotary Club. You can also pre-order by phone by calling 802-259-3490. This makes it easier for us to know how much food to prepare.
