Word Box Poetry (One Night Only!) at MSU

Constructivism is the theory that says learners construct knowledge rather than just passively take in information.

I am delighted to help create a vessel in which community members who enjoy language, images conjured by language, puzzles, patterns and a calming of the mind can share space for a fleeting 90 minutes and construct and create together. Wow, right!?!

As the facilitator, I promise I will not yammer on about words, boxes, and poetry, (although, I'll have to think about the intersections among those three things for a future lecture). But not this time! No, if you are among those who feel called--and can motivate yourself--to sign up for the experience, I'll simply explain how things work, provide some forms to work with, set the mood, create word box poems along with you, and facilitate a sharing for those who would like to read toward the end of the evening.

I am playing my pipe. Can you hear the undeniably alluring melody...

If my music has called you forth, please check out the following link for more details: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c094ba4ac23a6f4c25-middletown#/

Hope to construct and create with you.
