Harwood Unified Union School District (HUUSD) nursing team, in partnership with The Town of Waterbury and The Children's Room, invites you to participate in our very first Annual HUUSD Community Health and Wellness Fair, to take place on Town Meeting Day, March 7th, 2023, from 9 AM - 12 PM at Brookside Primary School Cafeteria. Entry is free, and the first 25 people will receive a pair of Darn Tough Socks. There will also be complimentary coffee and treats from Black Cap Coffee available so please bring a mug!
The purpose of the Community Health Fair is to connect our community to resources and education regarding wellness and good health for individuals and families. The pandemic has left our community disconnected. This is an opportunity to reconnect and reintroduce health and wellness organizations to our community.
Coastal Coping will host a "Teddy Bear Clinic'' in The Children's Room at Brookside. This is intended for children ages 2-8. This will help children with taking the scare out of medical care! Children and families are encouraged to come to learn and play about doctor's visits and routine medical procedures. Please email kellie@coastalcoping.com to reserve your child's spot and receive more information!
The Waterbury Senior Center will have lunch available for a suggested donation.
The following organizations will be available:
