A traditional form of yoga practice that typically involves a sequence of asanas (poses) and pranayama (yoga breathing) techniques that are practiced in a slow manner. Asanas are mostly static and gentle in Hatha Yoga. Meditation, mantras (chanting) and mudras (hand gestures) are often included in these classes. Julia is well known in the MRV for her gentle, supportive teaching style. Preregistration required and please bring your own mat!
