The Slate Valley Trails Full Moon Walk has been rescheduled for the following day (Sunday, Feb 5) due to the cold temperatures.
🌝 Where: Meet at the SVT's office space located at 212 Main Street in Poultney at 6 PM.
🌝 What: family friendly and dog friendly full moon hike along the Poultney River loop under the SNOW MOON. In February, the Snow Moon arrives bright and full in the heart of winter illuminating snow covered surfaces. After our hike, we will sip hot chocolate or tea in the SVT office.
🌝 How: Participants should expect to cover 3 miles.
🌝 Wear/bring: Footwear suitable for hiking, snowshoes or microspikes (depending on ground conditions), warm layers, water and snacks. Bring your own mug for hot chocolate after the hike. Don't forget your headlamp!

Inclement weather (downpour, thunder, blizzard) will cancel. A post will be made an hour before each hike with cancelation notification
