Imbolc Celebration

Past event
Jan 30, 2023, 5 to 5:45 PM

Spring Cleaning is an instinctive response to the end of winter. The Gaelic festival of Imbolc in held on the first day of February and is associated with the dusting away of cobwebs that have grown in the corners of both our physical and spiritual lives during the darkest months. In Ireland, the ceremony is associated with St. Brigid who is the patron saint of promise, life and change. The date marks the halfway point of winter.

In honor of this festival, River Buffum of Butterfly Moon Meditation and harpist Judi Byron come together with meditation and harp to guide participants in release and celebration. River is an experienced meditator, practicing for over two decades, and guiding others one-on one. Judi has played harp for four decades and loves the magical sound the harp is capable of.

Together they bring their art and craft to usher in calm, piece and a spirit of wonder. Monday evening, January 30th from 5-5:45 PM in the SAL Room. Wear comfortable clothing and bring and eye mask if you like.
