Dear Craftsbury Community Care Center Friend,
On Saturday July 26th, Craftsbury Community Care Center is having its Annual Cookout and Auction. The auction will include an entertaining mix of antiques, crafts, art and merchandise. All proceeds from this event help to cover our Medicaid gap - approximately fifty percent of our residents are on Medicaid and the State only pays about one third of their daily living expenses.
This is our largest and most significant fundraising event of the year. We hope that you will support it by donating to the auction. There will be a printed program acknowledging all donors for their generous contributions.
Your donation will be tax deductible due to our non-profit status. Following the event you will be sent a letter thanking you for your contribution and noting its value. This will be suitable for tax purposes.
We greatly appreciate your considering this request and, more importantly, ask you to mark the Cookout date on your calendar. This is a community gathering and we hope to see you and your family at Craftsbury Community Care Center on July 26th – lunch is served at noon and the auction begins at 12:45 p.m.
