The Cork & Fork restaurant and Green Mountain Technology & Career Center have teamed up to offer a series of culinary workshops. "Preparing Great Meals on a Budget" kicks off Tuesday, February 11.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, learn to prepare a "Marry Me" chicken dinner and sides that will impress your family while remaining budget-friendly. Participants will prepare a full meal together and take home a serving to enjoy. Each student will leave understanding how to recreate this meal at home with recipes to use leftovers in delicious ways to help stretch a food budget. This workshop will be hosted by chef Mark Rowell at The Cork & Fork on Main Street in Hardwick from 3 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 11.
Tuition is $100, and qualifying students can secure a VSAC Advancement Grant to attend these workshops.
