8 week series class- self defense for LGBTQ+ youth 10-17 years and allied friends. Wednesdays 5-5:55pm 4/5 - 5/24

No experience needed. Come explore your power (and opression!) in a fun and supportive environment while learning practical tools to defend yourself. Class will include boundary setting, kicks and strikes on pads, grab releases, blocking and evasion,verbal strategies, scenario, practice and peace based self-defense philosophy. We will explore topics more in depth based on participants interests.

Class is held at Bethany Church (not affiliated) in Montpelier. Sliding scale $80- $160. Masks are required.

Class is taught by Tristan Elliott (she / her), 2nd degree black belt in kajukenbo kungfu, with over 20 years experience teaching kids and adults of ages.
