Coming up this Thursday morning on Central Vermont Community Radio — An East Montpelier man who was an electric car tinkerer and pioneer talks about making prototypes of the modern electric car in central Vermont garages. And Susan Green of the Jaquith Public Library in Marshfield updates us on their activities.
9:00 - 10:00 am
Steven Miracle has built electric cars and motorcycles in his garage, and he was part of a Vermont group making all-electric cars long before the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Bolt,Tesla, or other models that are now sold commercially. We'll talk to him about what it was like to work in the pioneering days of the modern electric car movement, and what lessons he takes from that work for buying an electric car today.
The Jaquith Public Library in Marshfield offers books and more: fantasy card games (Magic: The Gathering), movies, family games, book discussion groups, and storytimes. Librarian Susan Green will talk about the latest happening there.
