Tuesday Night Live returns to Johnson on July 8, 2014 and will continue during July and August on the Legion Field on School Street. The Seth Yacovone Blues Trio will open the season from 6 to 8:30 PM. With Jeff Salisbury on drums, Jan Schultz on bass, and Seth Yacovone on guitar and doing vocals, the trio will perform classics as well as original tunes.

Local organizations and vendors will be on-site. The Historical Society will offer slices of homemade pie, Alice’s German chocolate cake as well as McKenzie hotdogs and fresh-made salads. Also returning with tempting choices will be Himalayan Nepali food, Fire and Slice pizza, Kettle Corn, and Back Country BBQ.

Tuesday Night Live is free thanks to the support of local businesses. Just bring a blanket or chair. Parking is along School Street and in the Elementary School Parking lot on College Hill. The eight week music schedule has been coordinated by Cal Stanton and is available on the town’s webpage or by contacting Cal at CAL_05656@yahoo.com or Lois Frey at 635-7826. Summer showers may dampen the enthusiasm for a few minutes; but it is only lightning and thunder that cancels the event.
