The Sugarbush Racing Club (SRC) is ready to rip-in the New Year starting Friday morning January 6 from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Racer's Edge. The SRC will post a link on the website next week to register to race with the club.

The SRC has been at it for over 40 years encouraging Alpine Racing for the full range of skier skill levels from beginners to the fast and furious. It's an excellent and supportive setting for the skier who has never raced "but always wanted to try it." One does not have to be a racer to be a member. Social members are warmly welcomed.

The SRC is NASTAR-affiliated and races approximately eight times a season, conditions permitting. Racing clinics are offered periodically to members.

NASTAR = NAtional STandard Race. The program is focused on bringing the alpine racing community together with a common scoring system.

NASTAR is a recreational racing program that has been open to the public at more than 100 resorts across the country for more than 50 years, and NASTAR is also available to ski clubs. The NASTAR Club Program is a race management system for registering racers, timing races and connecting athletes with their results online and their peers across the country. NASTAR was designed as a social network to bring people together virtually and to create a connection for recreational racers. Providing participants with data about their on snow experience increases their knowledge and aids in skill development by teaching athletes how to carry speed.

Social Activities include weekly aprés ski parties (on Thursdays before the race), a winter dance, a spring banquet, an annual BBQ, plus many other "pop -up" events that are announced throughout the year.
