The Christmas season is often filled with excitement, energy, and expectation. Whether it's the music and melody of the songs, the trees with their trimmings and trappings, or the feasts with family and friends, there's often a lot going on. All of that activity culminates on Christmas, as paper is torn from boxes, bows are tossed behind furniture, and pets scramble to scarf up spilled candy and crumbs. Then it's over for another year.

WAIT--there is more to it than that. This year, come spend a little time contemplating the CORE of Christmas. In a quiet and quaint church, we encourage you to come for a moment by the manger. Allow yourself to be captivated by the child that brought all this celebration. Come and learn why it means more than the boxes and bows.
