CENTRAL VERMONT PIONEERS SLED HOCKEY – SATURDAY November 12th.

Thank you to all the community and out of towners for supporting the Pioneer Sled hockey team buying tickets to Troy Kingsburg's Lobster event and, also the Lower the Hazzard golf players. The events were a success and raised money for the sled hockey members, equipment, transportation to away games and a start to financing the trip to the Nationals in February to St. Louis. I talked to many people and some were not familiar with Sled hockey. Sled hockey is a nonprofit organization that gives people with physical challenges opportunities that will last a lifetime. Ages range from 6 years to 65 years. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE THE TEAM IN ACTION. Please come support your local sled hockey team – cheer them on, shout, clap and bring your bell. The event takes place at The Ice Center in Waterbury Vermont on this Saturday November 12th. At 4:30. They will be playing the Boston ICE Storms and we want our Players to know we are routing for the Pioneers. (If for any reason you can't make it at 4:30 PM – the first teams will take the ice at 9:00 AM Saturday and the Pioneers will be playing NEP Wildcats also but the big game is at 4:30) Admission is free and there will be a raffle, Silent Auction, and snack bar.
