Join us on the third Thursday of every month at the Winooski Memorial Library for our Community Circle! Facilitated by Kayla Loving, Restorative Justice Coordinator at Spectrum Youth & Family Services, the circle is one of the most well-known restorative justice practices.
At each gathering, we'll eat a meal together (provided) and sit in a circle to discuss local, current events. The topic for this month's meeting is the rise of gun violence among our young people and how we might address this issue as a community.
If you have an interest in getting to know your neighbors on a deeper level, learning about restorative justice, and organizing for change, consider joining us. Everyone is welcome. Interpretation can be provided if we are notified ahead of time.
