The Chittenden Solid Waste District's household hazardous waste collection "Rover" is making a stop at Winooski's Landry Park (Pine Street) Saturday, August 24, 9 am - 1 pm.
NOTE: The Rover is free and available to Chittenden County households only.
The Rover makes a stop in each town in Chittenden County once a year (with the exception of South Burlington, home town of the Environmental Depot, which is open year-round). The Rover accepts household hazardous leftovers such as paints and stains, automotive fluids, hobby supplies, pesticides, fertilizers, household cleaners, beauty supplies, and anything with the words "Danger," "Caution," "Warning," or "Poison" on the label.
