Free Martial Art Class at Aikido of Champlain Valley

Past event
Oct 4, 2022, 7:15 to 8:15 PM

Discover the dynamic and circular martial art of Aikido. Instead of strikes and linear blocks, Aikido emphasizes flowing responses to attacks in a non- competitive environment. This introductory workshop for adults and focused teens introduces core conditioning, breath work for relaxation and internal power, basic principles of evasion, and the art of falling. Discover how to become more resilient, flexible and centered. All prospective students must be vaccinated against covid and wear masks while training.

In celebration of our 25th anniversary, all workshop participants new to aikido are eligible for 25 consecutive days of free practice in October! If you cannot attend the workshop but would like to train for a free trial month, please contact me directly at bpincus@burlingtonaikido.org. You can also register on our website at www.burlingtonaikido.org, or call us at 802-951-8900.

We also offer classes for families and children ages 7-12.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat in celebration of our 25 years of joyful and sweaty practice!

Sincerely,

Benjamin Pincus
Chief Instructor
Executive Director
