We offer classes for adults, teens, children and families. The mission of ACV is to grow a sustainable community and peaceable world through the practice of Aikido. ACV is in a traditional dojo (training hall — literally, "place of the way or path"). We emphasize the relationship between technical power, precision, and internal growth and transformation. With links to direct students of Aikido's founder, Morihei Ueshiba, and Shihan at Hombu Dojo in Tokyo Japan, ACV provides traditional martial arts with Vermont's senior instructors. We are a 501(c)(3) federal non-profit educational organization that admits students of any national or ethnic origin, religion, color, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or preference to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities to all members.

We offer scholarships for youth ages 7-17, and an intensive program for adult students, both a live in (uchi deshi ) program and an outside student (soto deshi) program.
