Join us at the Island Arts Center for a HUGE book sale weekend! With books well organized by subject, it's time to stock up for Fall reading and gifts, while you support Island Arts and Scholarships for local youth.
More than 2000 books, many new, are arranged for your easy browsing; paperbacks, hard-covers, and beautiful books to display. Fiction, Mysteries, History, Travel, Cooking, Psychology, True Stories, Biographies, and more are organized by subject. There are books in French and even a few in German. Browse at your leisure in the airy space that is the Island Arts Center barn.
Grand Isle author Marisa Dallas will be in attendance from 12 noon to 2 PM on both days to discuss her journey and creative writing approaches. Please bring a sample of writing you may be working on, or just come with a question or a problem or two to review. Recently relocated from Boise Idaho, Marisa has gained traction in freelance writing and is an active member of the Burlington Writers Workshop. Look in our springtime 2023 Brochure for a possible writing workshop offering!
