Mov/ed Welcome Series
October 5 - November 2, 2022 - Wednesdays 8-9:15am
This series introduces movement principles applicable to any movement or exercise style, while using example practices based in slow-form yoga. No prior experience or familiarity with yoga is expected.
You can learn more about the series below and at https://esthermpalmer.com/welcome.
The Welcome Series is a five-week introduction to building a movement habit founded in awareness (of your needs, your body, and more). The hope is that this series will give you a foundation for building or continuing a regular movement practice or exercise habit, whether on your own or in group classes. We'll cover five principles (and accompanying actions) that can help you engage with your movement practice/habit/routine with intention. And if you're just starting to build a habit, I hope these tools will make it easier to do just that.
The principles in the Welcome Series are also foundational to the way I teach my weekly classes (in vinyasa yoga and stretching/daily movement). If you're looking for a regular class to join, this series is a good introduction to my style of teaching.
The Welcome Series is offered online via zoom and attendance is limited to 8 people. Fee is pay what you choose, with a suggested range of $50-$150.
