MORETOWN PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Moretown Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:30 PM, on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Moretown Town Office and by Zoom to seek comments on the Commission's proposed update to the Moretown Land Use and Development Regulations, dated September 11, 2022. This notice is issued pursuant to 24 VSA §§ 4441(d) and 4444.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The current Land Use & Development Regulations were last updated in March 2021, to address minor technical issues. The Planning Commission has drafted substantial revisions to further the streamline the permit process, reduce regulatory barriers toward the creation and availability of safe and affordable housing; support the Moretown's energy and broadband goals; and preserve natural resources.
